Services Department Coordinator / Dispatcher

This individual will handle incoming calls from REMCO customers needing service.. The nature of the calls will be to set up a time and coordinate the logistics to have a technician go to the job site to handle a mechanical breakdown or repair..

Essential Functions:

• TEAM PLAYER WITH POSITIVE ATTITUDE
• Assign Technicians to Service Calls.
• Answer phones / help in office / customer care functions
• Insure paperwork associated with operation is handled timely & properly
• Responsible for equipment assignment & accountability for service technician vehicles
• Insure that service calls are coordinated timely and efficiently
• Responsible for scheduling of service calls.
• Responsible for proper communication to customers via; phone, fax or email.
• Any other duties assigned by the Service Manager
  Requirements:
• Must be experienced & knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Must be able to adapt to operational changes or customer demands.
• Strong leadership skills required to motivate technicians to accomplish their assigned service calls.
• Must be able to perform corrective action, as necessary
  

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service experience is a plus
• Previous dispatching experience a plus
• Basic or fundamental knowledge of HVAC/R or Plumbing a plus
